Howdy partners and welcome back to Tasty TexaCola Tueday, where we are on the prowl for the most delicious snacks that pair with an ice cold TexaCola! This week we were starving and decided to do more than just snacking. Our destination? The Jerk Shack located on 117 Matyear St! This "Best New Restaurant 2018 Tastemaker" award winner serves artisan Caribbean cuisine including their famous Jamaican style jerk chicken. Today we tried their Chopped Jerk Sandwich with a side of their Mac n Cheese. The creaminess from the Mac n Cheese, the spiciness of the chicken, the butteriness of the Texas Toast it was served on, and the all around friendliness of the atmosphere were all complimented by the citrus and honey taste of a TexaCola.
