Andrew M. Anguiano

Co-Founder, CEO

Andrew is responsible for leading the vision and driving the narrative of Southside Craft Soda in the marketplace. Previously serving as CEO of Drew Advertising, he specialized in consumer packaged goods and beverages, he's an accomplished marketing executive. His work in brand activation teams and public relations for a major regional beverage and craft beer showcases his expertise, while his contributions to the innovation team of the iconic Texas brand, Adams Extract and Spices, further demonstrate his industry insight.

Active in the San Antonio community, Andrew has served on the city's arts board, zoning commission, and spent 8 years on the Board of Directors of Port San Antonio. He co-founded the Southside First Economic Development Council, a 501(c)3 non-profit affiliate of the South Texas Business Partnership.

Currently, Andrew is a founding member of Arboretum San Antonio and chairs San Antonio CPG. A native San Antonian, he resides on the Southside with his wife Marcie, and they have three children. Andrew is a proud 1995 graduate of Harlandale High School and a 2002 graduate of Texas State University.

Gregg Spickler

Co-Founder, Chief Brewer

Gregg is the creative mastermind behind our flavors, boasting over 15 years in the restaurant industry and a decade-long tenure in brewing beer. With extensive experience in crafting innovative flavors, this San Antonio native and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York, has led culinary and brewing teams in both Texas and Maine. In addition to his culinary prowess, Gregg is also skilled as a Bee wrangler and founded Winding Road Provisions.

Transitioning to the Brewmaster role at a large local brewery, Gregg orchestrated the bottling of Southside Craft Soda's inaugural batch in the spring of 2019. Later, as Director of Operations, he drove expansion efforts and spearheaded a co-packaging program. 

Outside of his professional pursuits, Gregg cherishes time with his wife, Emily Spickler, who serves as the South Texas District Sales Manager for Toast Inc, and their two daughters, avid participants in club volleyball and soccer. When not immersed in business or sports, the family enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with their dog, Queso.
