Summer is here and our Mixing Maven, Ande has done it again! Over the top, delicious and most importantly FUN. Whether you're by the pool or need to cool off after a long day, these cocktails (or mocktails) will transport you to paradise.
AGUA DE SIRENA
2oz Texas Spice Rum (from Grateful Dane Distilling in Houston, TX)
1oz Zeal Coconut Rum (Texas-female owned)
4oz Pineapple Juice
.5oz Blue Curacao
Squeeze of fresh lime
Top with Southside Craft Soda Limoncito
Garnish with pineapple, oranges and flower
PIG STAND
3 Strawberries, squished
3 Blueberries, squished
Squirt of Honey
.5oz Lime Juice
1.5oz Fassionola Syrup (recipe provided with Christmas cocktails)
2oz Yellow Rose Outlaw Bourbon (Houston TX)
4.5oz Southside Craft Soda Texacola
Muddle berries, honey and lime in bottom of shaker. Add Fassionola, bourbon and ice - shake. Strain, add Texacola, pour over ice in cocktail glass. Garnish with tropical fruits and flowers.
LIME IN THE COCONUT (mocktail)
8oz Coconut Cream
8oz Mango Juice
4oz Southside Craft Soda Root Bexar
Juice of 1 Lime
Shake all but soda with ice, strain, add soda and funnel into coconut. Garnish with lime and flowers
